Job summary

Lamar Consolidated ISD is seeking an Employee Relations Coordinator to oversee investigations, policy compliance, and engagement initiatives across campuses and central administration. The role focuses on ensuring fair processes, addressing complaints, and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities include serving as hearing officer, drafting responses to formal complaints, and coordinating trainings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and district policy regarding complaints
• Ability to write investigation summaries and findings
• Ability to analyze complex information and communicate clearly with diverse groups

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigations with campus and HR staff to support administrators
• Serve as hearing officer for formal complaints as assigned
• Provide written responses to formal complaints and investigations
• Draft responses to administrative agency complaints (TEA, OCR)
• Investigate discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and Title IX concerns
• Resolve complex employee relations matters including investigations and performance issues
• Track data on complaints and recommend policy changes
• Coordinate trainings on complaint handling and investigations
• Support informal conflict resolution across campuses and departments
