Youth Villages in Memphis, TN is seeking an HR Generalist - Employee Relations to manage employee relations, investigations, grievances, and appeals, acting as a key liaison for employees and managers. The role requires confidentiality, strong communication, and broad HR expertise across policy and training.

The position offers on‑site work in a dynamic environment with opportunities to support multiple locations and contribute to organizational compliance and employee development.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to assist with other HR functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigations related to employee relations matters (harassment, discrimination).
• Serve as point of contact for appeals of disciplinary action, including terminations.
• Oversee unemployment claims and hearings as needed.
• Provide management with guidance on employment law and organizational policy.
• Support supervisory trainings and participate in special HR projects.
