Employee Relations & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist
Duties & Tasks
- Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits.
- Conduct Exit Interviews.
- Collect and analyze employee data.
- Use data to create employee profiles.
- Organize and update employee files.
- Adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
- Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses.
- Oversee employee orientation and training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, squat, bend at the knees and waist, and walk.
- Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork.
- Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder.
- May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Ability to travel domestic US and/or international if needed.
- Must wear PPE as required in each area.
The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environment.

Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist and/or EHS specialist or similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employee law.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Employee Relations Specialist or EHS Specialist.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant amount of experience otherwise.
Software Skills Required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced with ADP and SAP preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in database maintenance and record keeping.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems.
