Job summary

Partner with leadership to improve HR processes, minimize risks, and strengthen supervisory practice. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of five years in human resources, employee relations, or related area.
• Experience handling sensitive employee issues and workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee complaints and investigations from intake to resolution.
• Advise supervisors on performance, attendance, conduct, and disciplinary matters.
• Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Administer performance reviews and provide coaching resources.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and Head Start requirements when applicable.
• Protect confidentiality and communicate findings to leadership.
• Train managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, and procedures.
