Job summary

Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a Senior Employee Relations Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor on complex employee relations matters across the health system. This role leads sensitive investigations, coaches leaders, and partners with Legal, Compliance and HR to promote a respectful, compliant and high-performing workplace.

The position requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field, certs within 1 year, and 5+ years of ER/HR generalist experience; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; Master’s preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM certifications required within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 5 years HR Generalist, Employee Relations or related experience; or 3 years with a Master’s.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consultant to leaders and HR partners regarding complex employee relations matters.
• Lead highly sensitive workplace investigations and prepare comprehensive reports with objective findings and recommendations.
• Provide guidance regarding corrective action, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Security, Risk Management, and other departments on complex employment matters.
• Identify trends through investigation outcomes and employee relations data and recommend systemic improvements to reduce organizational risk.
• Mentor or guide Employee Relations Consultants and other HR staff; participate in leadership education.
