Job summary

Tulsa Educare is seeking a Human Relations Director to strengthen workplace practices, lead employee relations, investigations, and performance management. You will partner with the Chief People and Facilities Officer to promote trust, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least five years’ experience handling sensitive employee matters, advising supervisors, and interpreting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in HR, employee relations, investigations, or related field.
• Experience handling sensitive employee matters, advising supervisors, and interpreting workplace policies.
• Knowledge of HR policies, compliance initiatives, and performance management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee concerns, investigations, and workplace issues from intake through resolution.
• Provide guidance on conflict resolution, workplace expectations, and policy questions.
• Oversee annual performance management processes, coaching, and documentation.
• Develop tools, templates, and resources to support supervision and HR records.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and Head Start requirements.
• Develop and update HR policies and the employee handbook.
• Partner with senior leaders to communicate policy changes and improve processes.
