Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX seeks an Employee Relations and Compliance Manager to guide complex employee relations, policy interpretation and employment-law compliance across the organization. You will investigate workplace issues, develop a standardized performance framework, advise on ADA accommodations, and coordinate background checks, I-9s, and records management in partnership with Legal and HR partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA).
• Proven experience conducting workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination or misconduct.
• Strong ability to implement performance management and progressive discipline.
• Experience with ADA interactive process and accommodations.
• Familiarity with EEO-1 reporting and FCRA background checks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex employee relations issues with documentation and recommended actions.
• Develop a standardized performance management framework and provide coaching to managers.
• Advise on ADA accommodation requests and interactive process with managers and counsel.
• Oversee EEO-1 reporting, background check adjudication, I-9 and immigration case coordination.
• Interpret HR policy and ensure compliance with current employment laws.
