The position emphasizes partnering with legal counsel, policy interpretation, and proactive risk management to maintain a compliant, respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, misconduct).
• Strong understanding of performance management, corrective action, and progressive discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of complex ER issues; document findings and actions with legal counsel support.
• Develop and implement a standardized performance management framework; coach managers on issues and documentation.
• Advise on ADA accommodations and interactive process; identify systemic ER risks and policy updates.
• Oversee EEO-1 reporting, background check adjudication, I-9/immigration coordination, and personnel file compliance.
• Interpret HR policy, provide guidance to HR partners and managers on employment law implications.
