Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to advise management and employees on policies, employment law, and compliance. You will analyze complex problems, collect information, and develop actionable solutions with independent judgment.

You will lead investigations, support restructures, train managers, conduct climate assessments, and collaborate with Legal, Security, and other partners to protect confidential data and ensure fair treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of professional HR experience in Employee Relations.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Advises and counsels management and employees on employee relations issues and compliance.
• Participates in creating and implementing HR programs.
• Supports reductions in force with leadership.
• Trains managers on employment law, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Coaches management on resolving employee relations issues.
• Builds relationships to understand business needs and offer proactive solutions.
• Conducts internal investigations with Legal and Security partners, reports findings, and makes recommendations.
• Leads Employee Survey processes and analyzes climate data to drive improvements.
• On-boards new people leaders and distributes pertinent information to the organization.
• Coordinates unemployment processes and hearings with third-party vendor.
• Researches and responds to discrimination charges and lawsuits in collaboration with Legal.
