Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of professional HR experience OR five years with Pima County performing HR responsibilities.
• Experience interpreting employment laws and applying policies.
• Experience writing reports and providing coaching and training to supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Documents complaints, witness statements, and collects relevant evidence.
• Conducts investigations into allegations of misconduct, discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
• Prepares confidential reports on investigation results and analyzes evidence.
• Participates in creating and presenting training for employees and management.
• Interprets and applies employment laws, rules, and policies in the workplace.
• Provides coaching and feedback to employees and management on performance and workplace culture.
• May testify on behalf of the County in litigation.
