Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is hiring a Service Technician - Technology in United States, Wisconsin. This field role diagnoses, repairs, and services varied systems including CCTV, burglar/fire alarms, access control, paging and structured cabling.

You’ll read wiring diagrams, use power tools, and work with diagnostics software while maintaining strong customer relations. The role requires up to 25% travel, CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it, NFPA70E training, and driving a company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years’ experience with electronics or low voltage systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain shortly after start.
• NFPA70E training.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining customer relationships based on dependability and honesty; bridges communications between customer staff and Suburban’s team.
• Diagnose system malfunctions in the field and perform repairs on CCTV, Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Card Access, Paging, and Structured Cabling.
• Study system requirements; order parts; complete resolution; perform acceptance tests and commissioning.
• Review work orders and job files for data needed for efficient service and installations.
• Troubleshoot and identify malfunctioning equipment and causes of failure using testing equipment and theory.
