You will oversee checkout operations, ensure accurate cash handling, and maintain safety standards while promoting teamwork and positive store policies.

Qualifications

• Front-end supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to develop weekly labor schedules with store manager approval.
• Experience with cash handling and POS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and supervise the greeting of customers and respond to questions/requests/complaints in a courteous manner.
• Explain store policies to customers.
• Orient/train new front-end associates and retrain when necessary.
• Develop weekly labor schedules with store manager approval.
• Ensure safety of self, customers, and co-workers by following store safety rules.
• Bag customer purchases quickly and correctly.
• Operate cash register, scanner, scale, and intercom system.
• Monitor front-end service and call for additional help as needed.
• Manage cash handling, refunds, and voids.
