Job summary

I&S Group, Inc. is hiring a Transportation Construction Leader to join our Transportation team to oversee WisDOT, County, and City projects across Wisconsin.

This field-based role requires travel to job sites and strong leadership of inspection, management, and administration activities. You will mentor engineers and staff, coordinate pre-construction and progress meetings, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and foster client relationships.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading civil infrastructure projects and teams.
• Knowledge of WisDOT standards is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage WisDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects.
• Conduct pre-construction, public information, and weekly construction meetings.
• Perform civil engineering calculations, prepare plans, designs, and reports; provide construction oversight.
• Serve as liaison with clients, authorities, and contractors.
• Deliver documents within budget and schedule while satisfying client requirements.
• Develop client relationships and drive business growth.
• Lead project delivery and mentor team members.
• Assist with design of transportation and municipal infrastructure and contract administration.
