Job summary

The Kendall Group in Michigan is seeking a Route Driver to operate a delivery van and straight truck, driving to customer locations with professional, friendly service and accurate deliveries.

When not delivering, you’ll assist with warehouse tasks, maintain the vehicle, follow safety procedures, and help optimize routes for efficiency and on-time shipments. Entry-level applicants with a high school diploma or GED are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; high school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain DOT Medical Exam and 1-year Card upon hire.
• Ability to operate bar code scanners, printers and basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and drive to customer locations.
• Load/unload trucks and manage daily shipping manifests.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not delivering.
• Maintain delivery vehicle and follow safety procedures.
• Assist in route planning to improve efficiency.
