Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Meat Market Manager in Oklahoma to lead the Meat Department, drive sales and maintain quality with a focus on service and efficiency. You will supervise staff, schedule labor, order inventory, and ensure product freshness.

You will develop merchandising plans, manage pricing, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with the store manager on operations and promotions to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical ability and ability to count.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Able to read instructions, merchandise labels, order codes, numbers, reports, printed invoices and forms.
• Good interpersonal communications and ability to supervise multiple employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions/requests/complaints; explain store policies courteously.
• Hire/fire/discipline/promote/evaluate Meat Dept staff; orient/train new employees; retrain when necessary.
• Develop weekly labor schedules for Meat Dept staff for store manager approval.
• Create weekly merchandising/display/advertising plans and manage displays.
