Job summary

Coborn's is seeking a Meat Department Assistant Manager to support the Meat Department Manager in all aspects of operations. Responsibilities include preparing products for sale, ensuring freshness through coding, rotation, and culling, and removing out-of-code merchandise.

You will lead staff when in charge, directing workload, counseling, training, and evaluating performance, while maintaining strong customer service and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in all facets of meat department operations, including preparing products for sale.
• Control freshness by coding, rotating, or culling products and removing out-of-code merchandise.
• Provide customer service, manage employee relations, and help with expense control, inventory, shrink, and record keeping.
• Direct staff when in charge of the department, including directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations, and supervision.
