Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Homeland Store 495 in Henryetta, OK to lead daily store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and supervise front-end and floor teams.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, manage inventory and displays, oversee opening/closing procedures, and ensure safety compliance while delivering prompt, courteous service in a fast-paced, employee-owned environment. Strong English communication and experience in grocery leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to give/receive complex verbal instructions and follow store policies.
• Ability to read and write English; read instructions, labels, and reports.
• Make decisions on merchandise placement, pricing, staffing, and policies.
• Good interpersonal communication skills required for staff and customers.
• Knowledge of Wage & Hour, OSHA, ADA and other regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers at all times.
• Meet sales, profit, expense and labor budgets with Department Managers.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing, and stock levels; manage ordering and receiving.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures; maintain store conditions and security.
• Supervise hiring, training, and scheduling of store staff; conduct staff meetings.
