Job summary

Stainless Piping Specialists is seeking a general machine operator with fabrication duties in Wisconsin. The role includes cutting, grinding, and laser cutting as needed, with opportunities for training and advancement.

1st and 2nd shift options are available, offering a hands-on team environment with opportunities to grow. The position emphasizes safe operation and quality workmanship, with training and pathways to laser operation.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical Fabrication and Cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs.
• Establish proper stop location, cut condition adjustments as needed.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed operator maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials to the supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut.
