Job summary

Stainless Piping Specialists is seeking a general machine operator with fabrication duties, including training and advancement opportunities that may include Laser operation. Join our team on the 1st and 2nd shifts for a hands-on role in cutting, grinding, and laser program operation where safety and quality are paramount.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of manufacturing and fabrication/machine operation experience, be proficient in blueprint reading, and possess strong

Responsibilities

• Perform Fabrication and Cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs.
• Establish proper stop location and cut condition adjustments.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed operator maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials to the supervisor.
• May perform other tasks as production needs require.
• Load material using overhead crane and/or forklift to prepare equipment.

Stainless Piping Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a general machine operator with fabrication duties, including training and advancement opportunities that include Laser machine operation. Summary/Objective

• The machine operator / Fabrication position safely performs cutting, grinding, laser cutting etc. for a variety of Stainless Pipe configurations.

Essential Functions

• Perform typical Fabrication and Cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs.
• Establish proper stop location, cut condition adjustments as needed.
• Make proper set‑ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed operator maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials to the supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut.

Education And Experience

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1 year of fabrication and machine operation preferred.
• Blueprint reading.
• Organizational skills.

Physical Demands

• This position requires standing, walking, & bending throughout shift, including lift and/or move items at times that may be up to 50 pounds.
