Job summary

Stainless Piping Specialists in Wisconsin is seeking a general machine operator to join their enthusiastic team. The role involves performing various fabrication and cutting operations efficiently while ensuring safety. Opportunities for 1st & 2nd shift positions are available, along with training in laser machine operation.

Stainless Piping Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a general machine operator with fabrication duties, including training and advancement opportunities that include Laser machine operation. Summary/Objective:

The machine operator / Fabrication position safely performs cutting, grinding, laser cutting etc. for a variety of Stainless Pipe configurations.

Essential Functions:

• Perform typical Fabrication and Cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs.
• Establish proper stop location, cut condition adjustments as needed.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed operator maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials to the supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut.

Education and Experience:

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1 year of fabrication and machine operation preferred.
• Blueprint reading.
• Organizational skills.

Physical Demands:

• This position requires standing, walking, & bending throughout shift, including lift and/or move items at times that may be up to 50 pounds.
