Job summary

Sullivan Tire And Auto Service is hiring an Entry Level Technician in Massachusetts to perform entry-level vehicle maintenance and tire services, delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will work with store management to uphold productivity, profitability and service standards while following internal controls and policies.

The role involves mounting/dismounting tires, tire balancing, oil/filter changes, safety inspections, and basic repairs on domestic and foreign

Qualifications

• Customer service focus in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mounts, dismounts, balances, and repairs tires on passenger and light trucks.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Carry out and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs (e.g., headlights, belts, batteries, wiper blades).
• Collaborate with store management to meet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction standards.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
