Sullivan Tire and Auto Service in Portland, ME is hiring an Entry Level Technician to perform basic vehicle maintenance and tire service while delivering quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work with store management to maintain productivity and profitability, follow internal controls, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while learning foundational automotive skills on domestic and foreign vehicles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Team player with good communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on vehicles.
• Document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised maintenance repairs (headlights, belts, batteries, wiper blades).
• Collaborate with store management to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction.
