Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews in Wisconsin. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly, with an additional $2,000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year.

Expect 20% travel, lifting up to 100 lbs, and opportunity to join an ESOP and comprehensive benefits. Training and safety are emphasized. Under supervision, you will read plans, build per specs, operate construction tools, and work with a team to erect post-frame buildings across varying

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work efficiently.
• Willingness to follow safety processes and operate tools safely.
• Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Position requires 20% travel, including possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures, install windows and doors, and install siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew in a safe, organized, productive environment with respect.
