Job summary

Border States is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor in Orlando, FL to lead day-to-day branch operations, resolve SAP issues, and oversee equipment purchasing and inventory changes.

The role requires supervisory experience and knowledge of electrical products, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. The position emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience with customer service or sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.
• Technical ability to understand electrical systems with 3 years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Prefer strong working knowledge of Windows PC, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), internet, email, and SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact for SAP training, system upgrade coordination, and branch change management as appropriate.
• Serves as the location’s Training Coordinator regarding SAP, PC, Products, and Policy and Procedure training related issues as appropriate.
• Develops and/or reviews proposals for purchasing equipment.
• Coordinates computer, telephone, equipment changes, upgrades, or problems with appropriate corporate staff.
• Supervises all inventory modifications using the reason codes in SAP.
• Provides leadership during the location’s annual inventory process and with the Inventory committee.
• Provides administrative and operational support for branch purchasing, product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development, and other related functions.
• May oversee inventory cycle counting, inventory performance, bin management, return management, and root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
