Job summary

Genesee in New York is seeking a full-time, on-site team member to support the chocolate coating and packaging processes. You will work on the assembly line, weigh candies, label ingredients, and help maintain kitchen areas. The role requires adherence to GMP standards and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Basic math for weighing and labeling ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the chocolate coating assembly line.
• Package candy as it comes from the kitchen.
• Use scales to weigh candy and print ingredient labels.
• Complete paperwork for lot code traceability.
• Follow GMP standards and wear provided protective gear.
• Assist in the candy kitchen as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and utensils/trays sanitized.

Full Time: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm

Job Duties:

• Help on our chocolate coating assembly line
• Package candy that comes out of the kitchen
• Proper use of scales to weigh out candy as well as print ingredient labels
• Fill out paperwork for lot code traceability
• Follow all GMP standards. An over shirt, gloves and hairnets/beard nets are provided.
• Help out in candy kitchen as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitized and keep utensils and trays washed
