Elmer Candy Corporation in Ponchatoula, LA is seeking a dependable on-site team member for our chocolate production line. Pay starts at $13 per hour and can reach $15 per hour, with a $2/hour Perfect Attendance Premium. The shift is typically 5am–3pm, Monday through Thursday, with alternating Fridays for cleaning duties.

WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm and alternating Fridays for approximately 4 hours of cleaning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old & pass drug screen(s)
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand & walk for 10 hours
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity
