NYU Langone Health is hiring an Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to cultivate positive ER by assisting in development and administering employee relations activities. Ensures compliance with policies, collective bargaining agreements, and federal/state/local laws.

The role focuses on accommodation processes, policy interpretation, case management in Salesforce, and collaboration with leadership to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
• Employee & Labor Relations experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serves as accommodation representative for disability, religious and pregnancy requests; documents outcomes and informs involved parties.
• Responds to policy questions, investigates issues, and gathers data before recommendations.
• Creates and manages cases in Salesforce for intake, escalations, and resolutions.
• Manages documentation and filing of disciplinary actions; handles unemployment tasks as directed.
• Reviews telecommuting requests and ensures timely processing of agreements.
• Assesses Performance Improvement Plans and follow-up actions at conclusion.
• Assists with the Grievance Process for union and non-union employees, including scheduling and preparing for meetings.
• Provides guidance to employees on fairness and equity concerns; supports Legal Counsel in arbitrations.
• Maintains accurate case data in Salesforce, Onbase, and Grievance log; ensures regulatory compliance.
