Job summary

Nemacolin Market at Wisteria Associate delivers a welcoming, polished guest experience across retail and hospitality functions. You will assist guests, merchandise the store, operate the POS, and provide barista and grab-and-go service while upholding Nemacolin’s elevated hospitality standards.

You will collaborate with a team in a fast-paced resort setting, with shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • Pennsylvania RAMP Server/Seller Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work in all areas of the store as business needs require
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share responsibilities
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale and other workplace technology systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a guest-facing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to successfully fulfill the essential functions of the position

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, genuine service and assist guests while navigating products and offerings
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing retail environment through merchandising and presentation standards
  • Assist with inventory receiving, ordering, and back-stock cleanliness
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash with care
  • Ensure food safety and alcohol service compliance across operations
  • Prepare high-quality beverages and grab-and-go offerings, restocking as needed
  • Support opening/closing tasks, cleaning, and daily operational checklists
  • Collaborate with team members to adapt to changing business needs and contribute where needed

Job description

Create the welcoming, polished, and service-driven experience that keeps guests returning to the Market at Wisteria throughout their stay. As a Market at Wisteria Associate, you will contribute across multiple areas of the store, from guest service and merchandising to cashiering, barista service, and grab-and-go offerings. Your ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver exceptional hospitality will help ensure every guest interaction reflects the elevated standards of Nemacolin while supporting a clean, organized, and efficient retail environment.

What You Will Create
  • A welcoming and engaging guest experience by providing warm, genuine service, offering assistance, answering questions, and helping guests confidently navigate products and offerings throughout the store
  • An organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing retail environment through effective merchandising, product rotation, inventory monitoring, pricing accuracy, and attention to presentation standards
  • Accurate inventory and operational readiness by receiving deliveries, verifying orders, communicating inventory needs, monitoring short-dated products, and maintaining clean storage and back-stock areas
  • Smooth and efficient transactions through accurate operation of the point-of-sale system, proper cash handling, financial reporting, and adherence to established cash control procedures
  • Safe and responsible retail and food service operations by following food safety practices, alcohol service requirements, sanitation standards, and operational protocols
  • Consistently high-quality beverage, juice, and grab-and-go offerings through accurate preparation, restocking, product replenishment, and equipment maintenance
  • A store environment prepared for daily success through precise execution of opening, closing, cleaning, and operational checklists
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture by sharing responsibilities, adapting to changing business needs, and contributing wherever assistance is needed throughout the store
