Job summary

Nemacolin is seeking a friendly front‑of‑house host at The Peak, our year‑round dining and experience venue. You will greet guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth floor flow with warmth and precision from the moment guests arrive.

In a fast‑paced environment you’ll collaborate with service teams, guide guests on menus across outlets, acknowledge celebrations, and balance guest requests with server workflow during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong presence.
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Professional interaction skills with guests, members, and business contacts.
• Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent typically required.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members at the entrance with a welcoming demeanor.
• Maintain accurate floor plans, seating charts, and rotation systems.
• Distribute tables to optimize service performance.
• Communicate guest preferences and special occasions to staff.
• Manage reservations via phone, online, and in-person.
• Provide menu guidance across outlets.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Balance guest and server workflow during high-volume periods.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Create

• An upbeat, confident, and welcoming first impression at the entrance
• Accurate floor plans, seating charts, and rotation systems that support operational efficiency
• Fair and strategic table distribution to optimize service performance
• Clear communication with serving staff regarding guest and member preferences and special occasions
• Recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations to enhance memorable experiences
• Professional and cordial reservation management via phone, online, and in-person interactions
• Knowledgeable guidance regarding menus across food and beverage outlets
• Seamless collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Balanced prioritization of guest and member requests and server workflow
• A poised and positive demeanor during high-volume service periods
• Support of additional responsibilities as assigned
