Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a People Experience Program Manager who will refine the details behind employee experiences and partner with multiple teams to embed improvements across the People function. The role is based in Midtown Manhattan with a 3‑day office cadence and reports to the Senior Manager, People Experience.

You will analyze friction, map journeys, and surface opportunities using feedback, data trends, and employee input to deliver practical, scalable improvements that enhance both

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HR, Operations, Employee Experience, service design or transformation.
• Ability to use feedback/data/case trends to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Understanding of employee lifecycle and related workflows.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to challenge status quo.
• Detail-oriented with ability to improve complex processes.
• Able to connect details to the broader employee journey.
• Experience with cross-team collaboration on end-to-end processes.
• Interest in HR tech, automation and AI to simplify experiences.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple work streams.

Responsibilities

• Get into the detail of individual People experiences and the moments that matter.
• Spot friction and unnecessary effort across steps, ownership, and handoffs.
• Map how different teams and systems connect to the wider employee journey.
• Surface dependencies and opportunities with process owners and teams.
• Use feedback, trends, and data to understand employee experiences.
• Break complex experiences into steps and remove unneeded steps.
• Collaborate with People Tech and other teams to improve tools and processes.
• Turn personas and pain points into actionable ideas across systems and ways of working.
• Explore self-service, automation, and AI to simplify experiences.
• Test ideas with employees and managers and refine accordingly.
• Connect related moments across lifecycle to avoid disjoint fixes.
• Create journey maps and guidance to explain how processes work.
• Track changes in employee effort and satisfaction after changes.
