Job summary

Western Digital is seeking an energetic Communications professional to join the Employee Communications team. You will create and execute content and campaigns that engage, inform, and connect employees to the business and leadership.

You will manage organizational-wide campaigns, channels, and stories, partnering with stakeholders across the company and reporting to the Director of Employee Communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal communications experience.
• Excellent content development and writing skills, with a focus on campaigns, blogs, video, and social media.
• Strong visual storytelling and script writing abilities.
• Self-starter who builds stories and engages with stakeholders with minimal direction.
• Experience building and managing employee online communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage newsletters, FAQs, comms plans, intranet content, emails, and internal social content.
• Oversee day-to-day management of internal communication platforms and channels.
• Maintain and update editorial calendar for the team.
• Identify stories across the business that highlight culture and WD’s values.
• Create short-form video content and write scripts for storytelling.
