Job Posting Title: Employee Communications Consultant II

100% Remote

16 hours per week - evenly distributed, preferably 5 days a week.

Possibility of conversion to FTE (initially a 6 month engagement)

3 must haves: Technical writing. Project/program management. Technical fluency with electronic newsletters.

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience Level: 3-5 years

What you'll be doing:

Design and coordinate company communications.

Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures, monitoring company media, and utilizing electronic publishing technology.

Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of internal communication documents and programs that support and drive strategic business objectives.

Write and edit internal communication materials to increase employee engagement and leadership effectiveness.

Work closely with leaders to develop and manage communication plans.

Develop strategy for management to communicate goals throughout the organization to motivate employees to own business results.

Write and edit leadership messages. Position messages and provide coaching to managers to maximize effectiveness of communications.

Coach leaders to become listeners in order to better understand their organizations.

Use tools such as surveys, customer feedback, etc., to gather information and determine overall results and themes.

What we look for in you:

We need someone with attention to detail, strong writing skills, strong project management skills and an ability to manage stakeholders from across the company. This role will be an intake for an internal newsletter, so will manage inbound content submissions and then build weekly newsletters based on an existing schedule using an establish newsletter technology provider.
