Job summary

ICI is seeking an Employee Benefits Risk Broker to build a pipeline of new clients through direct and indirect contact, prospecting, and timely follow-up. You will initiate contact and nurture relationships that grow into business opportunities through strong networking across the community.

Work with the account management team to deploy sales strategies, understand the competitive landscape, and drive profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 2 years of insurance industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects.
• Understand the business landscape; identify strengths/weaknesses of solutions to meet needs.
• Manage overall client relationships; drive profitability, satisfaction and growth.
• Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis.
• Collaborate with account management and regional/national resources to maximize results.
