Job summary

Element Risk seeks an ambitious Employee Benefits Producer to drive new business and expand our employee benefits practice. You will identify, develop, and close employee benefits opportunities while advising business owners, executives, HR leaders, and financial decision makers.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and consultative skills, deep knowledge of employee benefits strategies, and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Active PA Life & Health Insurance license or ability to obtain immediately.
• Minimum 3 years in employee benefits sales, insurance brokerage, or related consulting field.
• Proven track record of new business development and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for generating new employee benefits business.
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with business owners, CFOs, HR executives, and other decision makers.
• Conduct client discovery meetings to identify benefits, compliance, and workforce challenges.
• Design and present employee benefits solutions including Medical, Vision, Group Life, Disability, Voluntary, Wellness programs.
• Coordinate with carrier partners and internal service teams to develop competitive benefit programs.
• Deliver client presentations, proposal reviews, and enrollment strategies.
• Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools and agency sales processes.
• Develop referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, payroll providers, and other centers of influence.
• Stay current on healthcare reform, ERISA, ACA compliance, and market trends.
• Collaborate with Property & Casualty Producers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
