Job summary

Element Risk Management is seeking an ambitious Employee Benefits Producer to drive new business development and expand the employee benefits practice. You will identify, develop, and close employee benefits opportunities while serving as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, HR leaders, and financial decision makers.

The role requires strong sales, consultative skills, and deep knowledge of employee benefits strategies.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health license or ability to obtain immediately.
• Minimum 3 years in employee benefits sales, insurance brokerage, or related consulting.
• Proven track record of new business development and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate new employee benefits business.
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with business owners, CFOs, HR leaders, and decision makers.
• Conduct client discovery meetings to identify benefits, compliance, and workforce challenges.
• Design and present employee benefits solutions including Medical, Vision, Group Life, Disability, Voluntary, Wellness.
• Coordinate with carrier partners and internal teams to develop competitive programs.
• Deliver presentations, reviews, and enrollment strategies; maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop referral networks with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, payroll providers, and other influencers.
• Stay current on healthcare reform, ERISA, ACA, and market trends.
