Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Senior Associate with five to eight years of relevant experience. The role may be based in any office, with preference for Milwaukee, Kansas City, or St. Louis.

The successful candidate will advise employers, plan administrators, and service providers on a broad range of benefit and compensation matters. The ideal candidate will have transactional experience with employee benefit plans and executive compensation

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and executive compensation advised on.
• Experience counseling clients in corporate transactions and business events.
• Strong ERISA and Internal Revenue Code knowledge is expected.
• A portable book of business is welcome but not required.

Responsabilités

• Counsel employers, plan sponsors, and service providers on benefit plans and compensation arrangements.
• Advise on corporate transactions and significant business events affecting benefits programs.
• Represent clients in matters involving government agencies when needed.
• Manage multiple sophisticated matters with proactive, practical approach.
