Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Senior Associate with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. The position may be based in any office, with a preference for Milwaukee, Kansas City, or St. Louis.

The candidate will advise employers, plan administrators, and service providers on a broad range of benefits and compensation matters. The ideal candidate will have meaningful transactional experience and strong ERISA and Internal Revenue Code knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
• Active bar license in the applicable state or ability to obtain quickly.

Responsibilities

• Counsel employers, plan sponsors, and service providers on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
• Assist with transactional work involving benefit plans and executive compensation in corporate events.
• Represent clients in dealings with governmental agencies and regulators.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
