The Baldwin Group, an award-winning benefits broker, is hiring a Client Relationship Manager, Employee Benefits, for the IAS West team in Irvine. You will manage client benefit programs, renewals, and day-to-day inquiries, ensuring compliance and a high-quality client experience.

Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in employee benefits, a bachelor’s degree, and a Life & Health license, with strong communication and project-management skills. This is a hybrid role in Irvine, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, finance, or related field.
• Current state Life & Health license required.
• 2–4+ years of employee benefits and account management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations to decision-makers.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary contact for benefits services.
• Assess client needs and develop tailored benefit solutions for renewals and coverage.
• Lead renewal process: prepare, analyze, and present options with benchmarking and plan design alternatives.
• Manage client service calendar: onboarding, renewals, enrollment prep, compliance updates, and plan documents.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA; oversee 5500 filings and plan documents.
• Liaise with carriers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage policy activity.
• Oversee new client onboarding aligned with the Peace of Mind process.
• Collaborate with Client Success Specialists and internal teams on data needs and workflows.
• Create employee-facing communications and coordinate enrollment meetings.
• Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in all interactions.
• Identify process improvements and escalate issues to leadership.
