Job summary

Lockton is seeking a motivated Associate Account Executive for the Employee Benefits space in Irvine, CA. You will support marketing, servicing, and strategic consulting for prospective and current clients, developing benefit solutions and nurturing strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Responsibilities include managing renewals, RFPs, vendor responses, and client reporting, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with teams to deliver client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• 5+ years of employee benefits client services experience.
• Strong knowledge of group benefits, services, programs and plan elements.
• Ability to analyze renewal projections for fully insured and self-funded clients.
• Knowledge of industry trends and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead servicing of a designated book of business related to renewal, marketing, and client service.
• Manage client engagements and projects; secure resources and manage client expectations.
• Provide strategic planning and consulting, including producing RFPs and presenting recommendations.
• Interpret plan offerings to ensure adequate coverage for clients' risk tolerance.
• Influence client direction and decision-making processes.
• Oversee open enrollment communications and renewal implementation.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
