Job summary

The Baldwin Group in Irvine, CA, seeks a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) in Employee Benefits to manage a portfolio of mid to high complexity clients, driving renewals, retention and strategic guidance.

You will analyze plan performance, ensure compliance, and coordinate with Advisors, carriers, and Baldwin teams to deliver a consistent “Peace of Mind” client experience while mentoring colleagues and guiding data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or finance; professional designations preferred.
• Current Life & Health license required.
• 4–6+ years of employee benefits and account management experience with strong client service and plan administration.
• Experience coordinating with offshore/shared service centers or third-party partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients and oversee renewal activity.
• Lead renewal strategy with benchmarking, experience analysis, and plan design alternatives; collaborate with Compliance and Population Health teams.
• Prepare and deliver QBR insights with advanced dashboard interpretation and trend analysis.
• Review and approve client communications to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategy.
