Job summary

Staff Financial Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager to grow a book of business and deliver high-level service to employer clients. This in-office role focuses on client relationships, renewals, benefits administration, employee communications, and compliance support.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in employee benefits client support, solid knowledge of ERISA/ COBRA/ HIPAA, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Resident Life & Health Insurance License required.
• 3-5+ years of employee benefits client support/account management experience.
• Knowledge of employee benefit plans, industry practices, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent client relationships, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, renewals, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage, service, retain, and grow an assigned book of employee benefits clients.
• Build relationships with clients and provide proactive guidance and support.
• Manage renewals, new-client implementations, and ongoing account service.
• Review renewal proposals, assist with rate negotiations, and prepare client documentation.
• Develop employee benefits communications and conduct employee enrollment meetings.
• Explain benefit plans and coverage information clearly to clients and employees.
• Assist clients with employee benefits compliance matters, including ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
• Analyze utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Review contracts, plan documents, and SPDs for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve client questions and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate implementation and onboarding for new clients and additional benefit offerings.
