Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager to manage & grow a book of business, ensuring exceptional service to employer clients. You will own client relationships, renewals, benefits administration, and compliance support.

This role focuses on renewals, rate negotiations, employee communications, onboarding, and ongoing account management for multiple clients. In-office, Atlanta-based position with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Resident Life & Health Insurance License required.
• 3–5+ years of employee benefits client support/account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefit plans, industry practices, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent client relationship, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, renewals, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage, service, retain, and support the growth of an assigned book of employee benefits clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide proactive guidance and support.
• Manage renewals, new-client implementations, and ongoing account service.
• Review renewal proposals, assist with rate negotiations, and prepare client documentation.
• Develop employee benefits communications and conduct employee enrollment meetings.
• Explain benefit plans and coverage information clearly to clients and employees.
• Assist clients with employee benefits compliance matters, including ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
• Analyze utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Review contracts, plan documents, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve client questions and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate implementation and onboarding for new clients and additional benefit offerings.
