Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Data Integrity Coordinator I to uphold data quality across MPI, EMPI, and CIS within the health system. You will work across departments to ensure accurate patient information and support data workflows.

In this role you will analyze systems, test software changes, manage chart corrections, and coordinate with the Document Management and Medical Staff Office to maintain provider databases.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 3 years in a hospital/medical office environment focused on customer service, medical billing, data abstraction, transcription, health information, etc.
• Strong customer service skills with heavy attention to detail.
• Oral, written and open communication skills along with analytical, leadership, organization, planning and time management skills.
• Strong computer experience with Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrates ability to multitask.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient identifiers for MPI/CIS across systems to ensure accurate data.
• Analyzes system changes and participates in testing software modifications.
• Monitors data integrity and updates systems accordingly in EMPI and related platforms.
• Responds to offsite vendors and internal inquiries for patient information with high service levels.
• Maintains data integrity by flagging errors and overseeing chart correction processes.
