Job summary

Maxonic is seeking an eHR Integrity Specialist II to remotely manage Epic EMPI work queues, prioritize patients, and ensure accurate demographic changes across systems. You will handle chart corrections, record merges, and ticket monitoring while upholding PHI protection and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires 2+ years of Epic EHR experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, and the ability to work a full-time remote schedule. Experience with EMPI and data integrity is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Epic EHR experience supporting patient identity, HIM, and chart correction workflows.
• Experience with EMPI potential duplicate work queues and duplicate medical record resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and EHR applications.
• Ability to work a full-time 8-hour/40-hour schedule remotely; days and shift are open.

Responsibilities

• Manage Epic EMPI potential duplicate work queues and prioritize admitted patients and patients with upcoming appointments.
• Review patient overlay queues and verify that demographic changes were completed appropriately.
• Coordinate medical record merges across systems and monitor/update tickets; escalate issues as needed.
• Protect PHI, follow HIPAA and department procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
