Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Data Integrity Analyst to support the System-wide EMPI, perform chart corrections and overlays, and ensure accuracy of patient records across Epic Care Connect. The role requires strong analytical thinking, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include monitoring overlay reports and work queues, validating documentation, and coordinating with multiple departments to maintain data integrity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's DegreeRHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association, RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association

Responsibilities

• Assists with Data Integrity/EMPI to include duplicate merges, chart corrections and overlays.
• Troubleshoots data integrity issues to ensure one MRN per patient across OhioHealth systems.
• Monitors overlay reports and duplicate patient work queues; researches and maintains patient identity per department guidelines.
• Monitors chart correction cases and follows up to ensure timely resolution.
• Uses various apps to validate documents and records for patient data integrity.
• Communicates with downstream systems about MRN changes to keep systems synchronized.
