Job summary

The Residence at Carlisle in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist residents with medication management, ensuring safety and dignity while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

You will work alongside the nursing and wellness teams to administer medications on time, document in the EHR, and participate in individualized care plans, with weekend and holiday shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medication Administration training program is required.
• At least one year of experience in direct senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and perform vital signs checks.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
• Assist with medication inventory, ordering, and storage compliance.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Wellness Director and care team to support individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medication area; promote wellness.
