Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Customer Service Representative in Annapolis, MD to explain emission test results, guide waivers, and ensure forms meet state standards. The role emphasizes friendly communication, organization, and hands-on emission testing when needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional communication skills.

• Automotive knowledge and/or customer service experience is a plus.

• Certification training in emissions testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain emissions testing results to motorists and help customers understand what to do when their vehicle fails its emission test.
• Guide motorists through waiver process and extension requests.
• Review motorists' waiver and extension forms to ensure they meet MVA standards, then grant or deny each according to state regulations.
• Perform emission tests when needed.
• Create a clean and professional environment to keep our station clean and welcoming.
• Other duties as assigned.
