Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Technical Regulatory Compliance Technologist for the Engine and Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) marking team.

The role supports emission compliance for Caterpillar and Perkins large diesel engines across worldwide markets. You will work with manufacturing, product engineering, GIS, dealers, and aftermarket to ensure regulatory requirements are met and risks are managed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with risk management processes is preferred.
• Regulatory compliance experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure emission regulatory marking requirements are met for Caterpillar and Perkins large diesel engines.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools used to manage emission regulatory compliance risks.
• Collaborate with product groups, factory operations and aftermarket to support development, validation and production of compliant products.
• Provide emission marking regulatory guidance for engine emission compliance across the business.
• Support development programs through Voice of the Regulator processes to identify marking requirements early.
• Become familiar with relevant emission regulatory product marking requirements.
