Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Emissions Compliance Certification Manager in Farmington Hills, MI to lead EPA, CARB, and ECCC certification efforts for engines, powertrains and vehicles. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage documentation, and drive compliance with evolving diesel emission standards.

The role requires 10+ years in emissions/regulatory work, strong leadership, and clear business communication. PACCAR offers extensive benefits and a strong pension program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline required.
• 10+ years of emissions/regulatory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPA/CARB/ECCC regulations and testing.
• Experience with diesel engine technology and exhaust aftertreatment is beneficial.
• Proven ability to manage documentation and cross-functional alignment.
• Proficient with standard PC software and PACCAR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage PACCAR engine, powertrain and vehicle certification with EPA and CARB.
• Oversee and prepare documentation, coordinating interpretations of regulatory requirements in certification plans.
• Lead staff in coordination with DAF’s Homologation and Product Development teams and PACCAR Technical Center to create and submit certification and running change documentation.
• Manage Effectivity dates with engine and truck plants for MY Changeover.
• Conduct engine and truck audits during MY Changeover.
• Manage emissions compliance credit and production reporting with EPA, CARB and ECCC.
