Job summary

Abridge, based in San Francisco, is seeking a University Recruiter to build and own intern and early career recruiting across software engineering. This role focuses on creating an accessible program that reaches diverse talent from universities, bootcamps, and other routes.

Working with the Early Talent Program Manager and engineering leaders, you will design strategies, evaluate candidates, and deliver a candidate experience that reflects Abridge's mission—careful, ambitious, and about making

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting software engineers, interns, or other early career talent.
• Proven ability to source candidates through diverse channels.
• Enough technical fluency to evaluate engineering profiles.
• Strong judgment for identifying potential beyond credentials.
• Builder's mindset in a fast-moving environment.
• High ownership and care for candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end intern and early career recruiting, starting with software engineering.
• Partner to build and execute a differentiated hiring strategy.
• Source candidates across universities, bootcamps, and other channels.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define potential and evaluation process.
• Craft a demanding, caring, mission-driven candidate experience.
• Use data to refine hiring approaches and scale the program.
• Support other critical technical roles outside peak cycles.
